Shreveport police are looking for suspects in two armed robberies that happened on the same day.

On June 2, an employee of the Thrifty Liquor store in the 8400 block of Linwood Avenue was robbed of his deposit bag.

The suspect is seen on surveillance video approaching the victim in the store's parking lot and accosting (him?) with a gun. After taking the deposit bag, the suspect fired a shot, then ran off and got into a light-colored vehicle on Linwood Avenue. The victim wasn't injured.

At 9:30 that night, a masked man armed with a gun walked into the Quick Stop in the 3000 block of Greenwood Road and demanded money from the clerk. He made off with an unknown amount of cash. No injuries were reported.

Surveillance video captures portions of the events in that robbery.

Police hope someone will come forward with information that leads to the identities of these bandits.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward if an arrest is made. Call 318-673-7373 if you know anything that can help.
