A boater remains missing after he and his cousin were involved in a boat accident on the Red River. Bossier Sheriff's spokesman Bill Davis says multiple agencies are on the Red today with a grid, searching for the body of an elderly East Texas man. He says this is primarily a recovery effort at this point, because the overnight water temperatures in the area where the boat crash happened yesterday afternoon made it unlikely that the 63-year-old man survived. His cousin DID...he's at LSU Hospital recovering from a head injury, shock and hypothermia. He's listed in stable condition. Lt. Davis says there's no word on the exact cause of the boat accident, but it appears the men were coming back into shore, when the boat hit a rock jetty and overturned.
