Two Teenagers Arrested Following Vivian Homicide

On Sunday the Vivian Police Department was called to a horrifying scene.

Police discovered 16 year old Miranda Clements with a gunshot wound to the head. Paramedics showed up and pronounced her dead at the scene.

While Vivian Police and Caddo Sheriff's Detectives were investigating they found that two teenage kids were witnesses to the shooting.

CPSO transported the 16 year-old girl and 17 year-old man to the Detective's office for interviews. The teens were read their Miranda Rights and a legal guardian was sitting in for the 16 year-old while interviews were conducted. While the teens were being interviewed, they admitted to shooting Clements while they were at the scene of the crime.

After the interviews, 17 year-old Wyatt L Sanders was taken to Caddo Correctional Center and was booked on one count of illegal possession of a handgun by a juvenile and one count of principle to negligent homicide. The 16 year-old girl was taken to the Caddo Juvenile Detention Center, where she was booked on one count of illegal possession of a handgun by a juvenile and one count of negligent homicide.
