Detectives say 18-year-olds Ariel Powell and Devodrick Seamster are accused of robbing a man at the Cross Country Apartments in the 1900 block of East Texas Street last night. Powell reportedly lured the victim, whom she'd recently met on Facebook, to Seamster's apartment.

When the victim arrived, Seamster came out of a closet, pulled out a knife and robbed him of his cell phone and cash. Then the pair forced the victim into his 2003 Lincoln Aviator and drove him to the intersection of Hamilton and Shed Roads, where they made him get out of the truck. Then they drove off in it. The man wasn't hurt.

Following an overnight investigation, detectives took Powell and Seamster into custody and charged them with armed robbery and aggravated kidnapping. They've recovered the victim's pick-up.
