Two men have been arrested in connection with a shooting last night on Wallace. Shreveport police talked with the shooting victim at LSU Hospital, where he was taken for treatment of a bullet graze to the neck. He told them he was driving south on Wallace at Midway when he noticed a Chevy Impala -- being driven by 20-year-old "Lando" Garner.

The two passed each other with Garner yelling profanities. He says Garner made a u-turn and began following him, and he heard multiple gunshots...then Garner took off. When the victim arrived at a relatives' house, he realized he'd been shot. Shortly after midnight, patrol officers made a traffic stop in the 4000 block of Joplin on a vehicle matching the description of Garner's. He was in it...and was arrested, along with 41-year-old Robert Farris, who was also in the vehicle at the time of the shooting. Both have been charged with attempted first-degree murder.
