Police say 22-year-old Vershun Lewis, 23-year-old Kenyante Lewis and 24-year-old Ticiera Jefferson, all of Bossier City, are charged with monetary instrument abuse after Special Operations Services members executed a search warrant this morning at their home in the 700 block of Dickerson Street.

Detectives have been investigating since early January the counterfeit $100 bills passed at Home Depot on Airline Drive and Old Navy on Beene Boulevard. Police found the counterfeit money at the home.

Vershun Lewis and Jefferson were also charged with contributing to the delinquency of juveniles, since they had minors with them when they passed the phony cash. The trio also faces similar charges in Shreveport.
