Third Arrest Made In Benton Murder Case

The Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office has announced a third arrest related to the murder of 31-year-old Caleb Pippenger of Benton. Pippenger was shot to death outside of his home in the 100 block of Post Oak Drive in Benton on March 15th.

Authorities have now arrested 29-year-old Shawna M. Jones, after getting a warrant on Principal to Second Degree Murder.

Back in May, the Bossier Parish SWAT team arrested 29-year-old Justin Sepulvado of Bossier City, and in June Bossier Sheriff's Deputies arrested 26-year-old Alisa Lochabay of Shreveport, both related to the murder of Pippenger.

Throughout the investigation of Pippenger's death, the Bossier Sheriff's Office has worked in conjunction with multiple agencies, including the US Marshal's Fugitive Task Force.

Even after three arrested, the Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office says they're continuing their investigation.
