How's this for a Tiger Tale? The Fighting Tigers of LSU have been picked to win their second straight Southeasten Conference Championship.

LSU takes the top spot in the Western Divison over Alabama.

The news was released Thursday by the Associated Press out of Hoover, Alabama - home of the SEC.

The Crimson Tide beat LSU in the BCS Championship game in January, but sports pundits say this season will belong to LSU.

I predict LSU will not only enjoy the SEC Title for a second straight year, but they will indeed take the BCS Championship as well.

After recruiting one of the top passing quarterbacks in the country in Zack Mettenberger, the Bayou Bengals are poised to strike at a moment's notice with Mettenberger's pro-set passing style.
Fans will recall the major stumbling block the Tigers faced against the Tide was the quarterback position.

Jordan Jefferson, a running quarterback, couldn't connect with the end zone when it counted. But Jefferson was able to scramble away from the Tide's defense, which was ranked number one all year long.

Back up quarterback Jarrett Lee was pulled early in the season after throwing interceptions in LSU's regular season win over Alabama down in T-Town.

LSU plays Alabama Saturday - November 3rd - in Death Valley. You can hear the game of the century on the home of LSU - 1130, the Tiger.

Geaux Tigers!
