I don't think there's ever been a time in history when more people were so excited to see one year end and another ready to begin. But that's exactly where we are with 2020. Some are actually counting the seconds until this incredibly horrific year is over. The year that brought us COVID and Murder Hornets, record numbers of hurricanes, and a division in our country unmatched since the Civil War.

Good riddance 2020! Make room for the brighter days ahead with the coming of 2021.

But, exactly what are most looking forward to in the New Year? On a personal level, my list just keeps getting longer with blessing after blessing. I'm going to have my first grandchild in 2021. My youngest son, Colt, will graduate high school and we're going to have another deer season starting in October. I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about how great it will be. Of course, that's pretty much the case with all of us isn't it? It's all a matter of perspective isn't it?

It's been said that we "choose" to have a good day (or a good year in this case) but we all have to admit that it's much easier at certain times to have a good year. We just have to be reminded of our blessings. That said, I've listed several things that might have you a little giddy about the New Year.

Things We're Looking Forward to the Most in 2021
