A Texas woman indicted in connection with a local murder-for-hire case is back in Caddo Parish. 56-year-old Linda Kate Passaniti has been brought back to Shreveport from San Antonio and booked into Caddo Correctional Center on charges of second-degree murder, conspiracy to commit second-degree murder, and three counts of forgery. She had been fighting extradition since her march arrest but a Governor's Warrant ordered her back to Louisiana. Passaniti is the daughter of Loretta Luttrell who's charged with hiring a man to kill her husband, Ernest, in July of 2010. Tina VanMoerkerque and Erick Crain have both pled guilty to murder in the case and are serving life sentences.
