Texas A&M Picked Out Crazy Glow-in-the-Dark Uniforms for Halloween Game… There’s Just One Problem
So much for all that hype they built up.
Texas A&M is set to take on South Carolina on October 31. These days the uniforms these teams wear is sometimes the biggest statement a team can make. This all started with Oregon and their relationship with Nike. We've seen neon, we've seen flat black, we've seen metallic...
But glow-in-the dark?
According to CBS Sports, that's what Texas A&M and Adidas have concocted for their Halloween match-up. The jerseys and helmets are black. The logos on the helmets are also black, but would be able to glow under the lights of Kyle Field. Unfortunately, there's just one problem...
Kickoff is at 11:30 in the morning.
The uniform has been named "Aggie Nights" and although it won't have the same effect come Halloween, they can certainly wear them again another time. Maybe for a bowl game or heck, if they make it to the National Championship.
It's not all gloom and doom in Aggieland though. A black-on-black uniform still makes sense on a ghoulish days.
