Teen Killed Following Shreveport Drive-By Shooting

Just before 2am Monday (11/4/24) Shreveport Police were called to the scene of a reported drive-by shooting.

Upon arrival Police learned that an SUV drove by and opened fire on two teenagers. One of the teens was critically hit in the shooting and was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Doctors took life-saving measures to try and save the teen, unfortunately the teen died in the hospital.

The shooting took place in the Mooretown area on the corner of Jewella and Hollywood. According to police the suspects were driving a champagne colored, early 2000 model Yukon SUV. And, though the vehicle was seen on security cameras, the license plate number was not visible.
