Teen Drowns in Cypress Black Bayou

A teenage boy has died after drowning in Cypress Black Bayou Sunday. The boy and two friends hopped a fence near the Palmetto Boat Launch to jump off a flood gate. After the boy made the jump, he yelled to his friends that he couldn't swim. They tried to save him but were unsuccessful.

Bossier Sheriff Julian Whittington says this is a tragic incidents and asks for people to keep the family of the boy in their thoughts and prayers.
