White House Taken

Recent weather has put off outdoor filming for the new Gerard Butler flick "Olympus Has Fallen." Provided we don't see any rain today, here's the revised downtown Shreveport filming schedule.

Yesterday's nasty weather -- and the threat for more of that today -- has shifted local movie-filming schedules a bit.

The stars of "Olympus Has Fallen" spotted around town!

Crews will have to make some repairs to the White House set in South Bossier City. The set was slightly damaged in the Friday night storms, but the facade is still standing.

The Fourth of July is over, so why are all those flags still up in downtown Shreveport? The Downtown Development Authority says it's because right now, downtown is actually Washington, D.C. As you can see from the photo, construction is coming right along for the movie "White House Taken" (that title could be changed to "Olympus Has Fallen," by the way) -- starring Gerard Butler.  I got an update on that from scenic painter Michael Wynn, who's part of the crew working on the project...
