The Red River Waterway Commission has re-opened several other public boat launches.  These include the ramps at Colfax recreation area in Grant Parish, Teague Parkway in Bossier City, Bishop Point (Shreveport) and one ramp at the south end of the Stoner Avenue recreation area...

The Red River Waterway Commission is re-opening several boat launches on the Red River now that water levels have begun to fall.   These include the ramps located in Coushatta, Natchitoches, Grant (excluding Colfax Rec. Area), and Rapides parishes.
