What can the new iPhone do that your old one can't?

I admit I don't know a whole lot about electronic gadgets and gizmos, but my kids are all about this stuff. They (along with the folks at CNET) helped me create a list of the hottest items headed for shelves next year.

On November 2 in Tokyo, auto maker Toyota unveiled several robotic devices designed to help paralyzed people and the elderly walk. These robots include sensors that detect the user’s posture, grasp and holding strength, and motor control technology that facilitates someone’s desired motion.
