Shreveport wreck

Problems for downtown Shreveport traffic today. A truck and a van collided. One of them hit the pole holding the Holiday Inn sign on Spring Street and the sign has fallen across Spring Street. It has been moved from Spring Street, but there is still a backup downtown...

At approximately 6:55 this morning, Shreveport Police responded to a report of a major traffic accident just beyond Broadacres Rd on Westport Ave involving a bicyclist and vehicle.  Police tell us their initial report shows that a car was headed eastbound as 47 year old bicyclist was traveling eastbound in the westbound lane...
