SciPort To Change Days & Hours For The Next Six Months
Sci-Port: Louisiana’s Science Center will be closed on Mondays from September through February. The Center will be open on the following Mondays that are regularly scheduled 2011-12 Caddo and/or Bossier school holidays: September 5, October 17, November 21, December 19, December 26, January 2, January 16 and February 20.
A Fun Weekend Planned In Downtown Shreveport, Events Already Underway
The last Friday lunch on the courthouse lawn ended about an hour ago, with fabulous entertainment provided by Dragstrip Phantoms. Food vendors kept folks fed and artists showed off their talents.
