CHRISTUS Schumpert is once again calling all “Miracle Babies,” who have overcome the odds of prematurity and developmental problems in the hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for the annual NICU Christmas Reunion.   The event will be Sunday, December 11 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Schumpert cafeteria.

Shreveport police have arrested a man who allegedly injured a baby earlier this month. On September 9th, detectives were called to Schumpert Hospital to a report of an infant patient there suffering from serious head injuries.
