Citizen's can dispose of unwanted prescription drugs this Saturday at Sheriff's Safety Town as part of National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.   Local law enforcement agencies across the country will be working in co-operation with the DEA  to set up collection sites for old, unwanted, and expired pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications.

An anonymous tip to the Bossier Sheriff’s Department landed a Greenwood woman behind bars. Eleanor Birdie Eskis, 65, of the 8400 block of Odom Road, was arrested following a possible drug deal.
