Louisiana drivers is it right ,rude, or against the law, to leave your car parked at the gas pumps while you go in the store to take care of other business?

I can't believe we're saying this, but apparently people somehow think this is a good idea.

Detectives arrested 30-year old Lance Garett Ellis of Texarkana, Arkansas today on a charge of theft of motor vehicle fuel. Detectives determined Ellis was the suspect driving the Chevrolet pickup truck which was located at Ellis’ residence.

The price we pay at the pump continues to climb, with no end in sight. AAA's Daily Fuel Gauge Report says we're paying -- on average -- $3.44 for a gallon of regular Unleaded in Shreveport/Bossier this Monday morning.  At this time last week, we were paying $3.38. Statewide, the average now is $3.45.
