There's Been A Body Found In Red River, And An East Texas Family Is Watching Closely To See If It May Be The Remains Of Their Loved One.

A teenager who allegedly ran way from her family's home in Missouri last month has been located in Shreveport.

Louisiana Tech running back Tyronne Duplessis has been found dead at his off-campus apartment.

Bossier City Police assisted by the Bossier Parish Coroner’s Office and LSU forensic anthropologist Mary Manheim continued the investigation today into human skeletal remains that were found last night in a wooded area in the 3100 block of East Texas Street.

The Shreveport Police Department has located a man not seen since last weekend.  Robert Gusick was reported missing by a co-worker after he did not show up for work on Sunday, May 8, 2011. Gusick was last seen by friends Saturday, May 7, 2011 at approximately 11:00 p.m.

The Bossier Sheriff’s Office is looking for the owner, or owners, of three goats that were picked up a week ago, on March 28th.  They’ll have to be sold at public auction on April 7th, unless claimed by the owner.  The goats were found running loose on Greenpark Road, near Doyline, and although Bossier Sheriff’s Deputies have tried to locate an owner, they’ve been unsuccessful.

10:02 pm UPDATE:  Shreveport Police detectives have received information that 15-year-old Michael Owens is safely back with his parents after being reported  missing.  Investigators will be working to determine the circumstances surrounding the child's disappearance.
