Power providers across Louisiana offer answers to customers who want to know why their electricity bill has suddenly skyrocketed.

For a number of Bossier Parish and a few Webster Parish SWEPCO customers, the electricity is out this morning.

The gigantic, 199-megawatt (MW) Sundance facility is up and running as we speak, but it's only the tip of the iceberg.

Though they've restored power to over 40,000 other customers, there are still 18,000 SWEPCO customers in the dark this morning after the winter storm.
