DWI arrest

On August 18, at approximately 1:10 a.m., Shreveport Police officers were dispatched to the 5200 block of Bert Kouns Industrial Loop in response to a major accident.

A concerned citizen stated that a male was slumped over the wheel, sleeping, in a black Honda Accord.

The Bossier Sheriff's Office says deputies found 29-year-old Brandon Butler of Benton in the driver's seat of his parked truck in the Legacy Elementary parking lot after 11 last night. Of course, since it was so late, no kids were there at the time...
