The possibility of rain may have kept some people away but it didn't stop hundreds of other party-goers from turning out for the 23rd Annual Cross Lake Floatilla.

Hundreds of people turned out for the 20th annual Cross Lake Floatilla on Saturday, June 4th.  I've been honored by American Legion Post 14 (the Lowe-McFarlane post) to emcee this event for the past three years.  I've also attended it several times just as a spectator before I was asked to jump in and play an active part...
