Centenary College

The annual Centenary College Book Bazaar is right around the corner. It's scheduled for September 5th and 6th in the Gold Dome on the Centenary campus.

A senior sociology major at Shreveport's Centenary College has been awarded a Clarence J. Jupiter Fellowship in Institutional Advancement by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).

In recent years, Shreveport's Centenary College has taken several steps to become a "greener" and more sustainable campus.

Centenary College President David Rowe is now the chairman of the Louisiana Association of Independent Colleges and Universities. He assumed the position June first and will serve a one-year term with the option for a second year.

It's a great New Year for Centenary College.  Its Ed Leuck Arboretum has been awarded a Level II Accreditation through the ArbNet Arboretum Accreditation Program and the Morton Arboretum.

Shreveport's Centenary College of Louisiana is beginning a new program with freshman students in the fall of 2014. The opportunity to do "More in 4" will give students the chance to participate in two separate sets of immersive studies in August and May and earn up to a total of 40 credit hours per year.
