Caddo Parish murder

A man shot and killed in Shreveport's Queensborough neighborhood late Friday, April 14, 2023, has been named by the Caddo Parish Coroner's office.

Opening statements and initial testimony and presentation of evidence by the state will commence today.

As officers arrived on the scene Shreveport Fire Department declared the victim deceased.

Shreveport Police patrol officers responded to a shooting in the 3000 block of Salem Drive.

A warrant lead by Shreveport police was executed with the assistance of the Shreveport City Marshal Office.

Five trials, including three murder-homicide cases, offer judges, jurors and attorneys a busy week in Caddo District Court.

Shreveport Police are currently investigating a shooting call that has left 1 person dead and 2 others injured.

They worked into the night and used multiple investigative factors to identify Archille Holmes Jr. (2-6-1995) as the individual they believe responsible for the homicide.

Shreveport Police are investigating a Sunday morning shooting that left a Shreveport man dead.

Shots rang out Thursday (1/27/22) around 4:00pm in the 1400 block of Harvard Avenue in the Lakeside area.
