The Caddo Fire Chiefs Association has lifted the burn ban for all of Caddo Parish.  The National Weather Service Office in Shreveport has reported nearly two inches of rain over the last two months with another round expected next Wednesday and next weekend.

A woman who was scorned by her ex-boyfriend was arrested on Monday for burning down the cabin where he lived, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.  Brenda Fore was arrested for setting fire to a bed inside the cedar cabin located on a farm in Blanchard's Nob Hill subdivision. The fire destroyed the cabin, causing damage estimated at $30,000.
