It's no great secret that Louisiana has had some public officials that were less than scrupulous. The fact of the matter is that we are supposed to trust out elected officials. And they are supposed to work for our best interests. This doesn't always happen, unfortunately, but there are people out there fighting against corruption. The Broadmoor Neighborhood Association is holding a discussion about public corruption, and the public is invited to attend.
The six candidates running for Caddo Parish District Attorney will participate in a forum tomorrow night.
The event, sponsored by the Broadmoor Neighborhood Association, starts at 7 p.m. at Broadmoor Presbyterian Church on Grover Place in Shreveport.
