Is Shreveport's Municipal Auditorium haunted? The Syfy Channel's hit show "Ghost Hunters" seems to think so. According to SMG Manager Sam Voisin, the paranormal investigation crew was at the storied local venue recently filming for an upcoming show.

"April 17 at 8 p.m., [Syfy] will air the season premiere of Ghost Hunters with the Municipal Auditorium footage," says Voisin. "And we are working presently...on a viewing party for the Ghost Hunters segment, and then a haunted tour right after of the areas they found things in. And they did find things."

Voisin says it was all friendly, but it makes for a wonderful experience over there.

He tells KEEL News he's looking at admission of about $10 a person for the event, with entry at 7 p.m. and the show starting at 8 p.m. The tour would follow right after.

"If possible, [we might hold] a panel discussion regarding paranormal activity in north Louisiana," Voisin says. "Especially in that area, with the oldest cemetery in north Louisiana right across the street."

We'll be getting all the details about that party soon and will pass them along as soon as we do.

All this comes just ahead of big renovations at the auditorium. Tune in to Keel Morning News Monday morning for more on those plans.
