Suspects Sought in Shreveport Car-jacking and Shooting
Shreveport police are searching for suspects in an overnight shooting and car-jacking that left a local man wounded.
Shortly before 11 last night, patrol officers were called to the Triple J gas station in the 500 block of Stoner Avenue to reports that a man had been shot in the parking lot.
The victim, 24-year-old Kentrell Turner of Shreveport, suffered at least one gunshot wound to the lower body. He was taken to University Health for treatment. His wound was considered serious, but he is expected to recover.
Detectives have determined that Turner was shot shortly after driving up to the gas pumps. The gunman, who was there with another man, left in Turner's white, four-door 2016 Chevy Malibu with Louisiana license plate N424322. Officers are looking for the vehicle and the suspects.
