Shreveport Police Seek Suspect Wanted for Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile 

Shreveport Police need your help in finding 43-year-old Donald Ray Simpson, a suspected child molester.  Simpson is wanted in connection to an incident from February of this year involving a 14-year-old victim that happened on Pines Road in Shreveport. 

After an investigation by the Shreveport Police Sex Crimes Unit Simpson is now being sought on multiple charges including: 

• One count of Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile 
• One count of Sexual Battery 

Shreveport Police released a statement saying: 

According to Louisiana law, Indecent Behavior with Juveniles is defined as: 

• The commission of any of the following acts with the intention of arousing or gratifying the sexual desires of either person: 

• Any lewd or lascivious act upon the person or in the presence of a child under the age of seventeen, where there is an age difference of greater than two years between the two individuals. Lack of knowledge of the child’s age is not considered a defense.
