Third Suspect Arrested in Shreveport Double Homicide

Shreveport Police have arrested a third suspect in connection with last month's double homicide.

Following thorough investigations, SPD has found evidence that Tarvella Loston, Dennis Scott, and now Joshua Thomas are suspected to be responsible for the deaths of two men and the serious injury of another man during the November shooting on Clyde Fant Parkway.

In the weeks following the deadly shooting, the three suspects were quickly taken into custody. Shreveport Police are still investigating this case to cover all angles but today, three violent offenders are no longer a threat to our community.

Shreveport Police Chief Wayne Smith reminds the community that this level of violence will not be tolerated in Shreveport. SPD detectives and officers will continue working tirelessly until everyone involved in this heinous attack is fully held accountable.
