Blade Studios officials get a chance to show off their facility to the public this weekend...with a media event tomorrow and a big grand opening Saturday evening. President Brady Blade says he's excited to be part of the Shreveport-Bossier community again. Executive Producer Scott Crompton says national acts are looking to record locally to take advantage of tax incentives, but there was a bigger reason for locating the studio here -- our large pool of talented musicians. People from all over the world are expected to be in Shreveport for Saturday's grand opening celebration. Blade says the future's looking very bright for the studios, and he's looking forward to bringing more attention to local talent.

Across town, Millennium Films' multi-million-dollar movie studio complex opens today. The media get a 4:30 preview while the main grand opening is planned from 6 until 8:30 this evening. The complex takes up a full city block in Ledbetter Heights -- just west of downtown Shreveport.
