The game known as the Southwest Classic, will be played at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. It was in consideration to be shown as part of a CBS doublheader, but was passed over in favor of the South Carolina-Auburn and Florida-Alabama contests.
Both Arkansas and Texas A&M are coming off losses Saturday. The Aggies lost 30-29 to Oklahoma State at home, while the Razorbacks lost 38-14 at Alabama.
Arkansas has won the last two games in the series between the former Southwest Conference rivals, including a 24-17 win last year.
This year’s game could mark the end of the series as a nonconference game. Texas A&M was accepted as the 13th member to the Southeastern Conference earlier this month, but the move has been delayed by a series of unresolved legal issues.
