Shooting Leads to Shreveport’s 6th Homicide of 2024
Shreveport Police are currently investigating a shooting call that has left one person deceased.

The call came into dispatch around 2:20 a.m. from Darian Street, which is located near the corner of Mabel Street. When first responders arrived on the scene, they located a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds to his body. The victim has been pronounced deceased on the scene as an ending result of his injuries.
At least 40 shell casings where located in the street in front of the home.
This homicide marks Shreveport’s 6th homicide in 2024.
