Two Shreveport Women Arrested for Aggravated Burglary

On March 4, 2024, at 5:39 a.m., officers were dispatched to a reported burglary in the 1000 block of Quail Creek Road. Upon arrival, responding officers were informed that two females had forcefully entered an apartment and stolen items belonging to the victim.

During the incident, the victim attempted to intervene, leading to a violent encounter. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported, and Shreveport Police Patrol officers swiftly apprehended the suspects.

The arrested individuals have been identified as 36-year-old KenLexis Jacobs and 35-year-old Shamika Kennedy. Both suspects have been charged with one count of aggravated burglary.

Suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
