Habitual Shreveport Target Shoplifter Sought by Police
Shreveport Police Department Property Crimes detectives, working alongside retail loss prevention teams, have officially identified a suspect in a series of brazen thefts at a South Shreveport Target.
Investigators have named Braie Breyon Allen (32) as the individual responsible for multiple shoplifting incidents at the 7000 block of Youree Drive.
A Familiar Face Returns to the Checkout Line
The investigation reached a turning point on February 21, 2026, when Target associates spotted a known offender entering the premises. According to police reports, Allen allegedly filled a shopping cart with merchandise and bypassed all points of sale, exiting the store without attempting to pay.
This behavior is reportedly part of a documented pattern. Despite being legally banned from this specific Target location following a 2025 guilty plea, detectives determined that Allen returned to the store on three separate occasions—October 29, February 21, and most recently on March 7—to commit further thefts.
Extensive Criminal History Leads to New Felony Charges
Allen is well-known to local law enforcement, with detectives noting her extensive history in what they described as the "shoplifting profession." Records indicate she was only recently released from custody in September 2025 after serving a two-year sentence for previous theft charges.
