Shreveport Police Arrest Woman Following Brutal Knife Attack

A brutal stabbing on Lakeshore Drive leaves a man fighting for his life.

A gas station was the scene of this attack, and the victim was sitting in his car. A woman came up to the car and proceeded to open the driver's-side door. She then, questioned what he was doing there, and abruptly stabbed him in the neck. The man was severely injured and bleeding heavily, but was able to drive himself to the hospital on Greenwood Road.

Police were informed of the stabbing victim, and even though the victim was still bleeding and losing consciousness he was able to give police enough information to start an investigation.

Police showed up to the scene at the Lakeshore Drive gas station to interview witnesses and check the security footage. After checking the cameras, police were able to confirm the identity of Laronda Nabors as the suspect in the stabbing.

Nabors was found and arrested. She was charged with one count of aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon.

The victim is expected to recover.
