SHREVEPORT, LA-   Shreveport police arrest woman in fatal stabbing incident on Rose Hollow Lane

On April 7, just after midnight, officers from the Shreveport Police Department responded to a call regarding a stabbing incident in the 9500 block of Rose Hollow Lane. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim with a life-threatening stab wound to the chest. Despite immediate medical attention and transportation to a local area hospital, the victim succumbed to his injuries.

Subsequent investigation by detectives from the Shreveport Police Violent Crimes Unit revealed that the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute. It was determined that 43 year-old Shemike Johnson allegedly perpetrated the stabbing.

As a result of the investigation, Johnson has been arrested and charged with one count of second-degree murder in connection with this tragic event.
