
Shreveport Woman Arrested After Stabbing Incident

SHREVEPORT, LA- Shreveport police make an arrest in domestic stabbing incident
On January 27, at approximately 6:20 PM, Shreveport Police officers responded to a 911 call in the 1100 block of Island Park Boulevard, where a stabbing incident had occurred. Upon arrival, officers discovered a victim with non-life-threatening injuries resulting from the incident.
Patrol officers diligently worked to secure the area and, subsequently, apprehended 26-year-old Lakendra Primer. Primer is now facing charges, including one count of domestic abuse with a dangerous weapon and one count of domestic abuse battery with child endangerment.
The victim is expected to recover. The Shreveport Police Department wants its citizens to know Domestic violence doesn’t discriminate. People of any race, age, gender, sexuality, religion, education level, or economic status can be a victim — or perpetrator — of domestic violence. That includes behaviors that physically harm, intimidate, manipulate, or control a partner or otherwise force them to behave in ways they don’t want to. This can happen through physical violence, threats, emotional abuse, or financial control.
