Shreveport Woman Arrested After Knife Attack
SHREVEPORT, LA- Shreveport Police Make Arrest in Violent Domestic Incident
The Shreveport Police Department has arrested 18-year-old MaKayla Stanton following a violent domestic incident that took place on August 10, 2024, in the 6700 block of Raspberry Drive. Stanton is accused of threatening her dating partner with a large knife during the altercation.
As a result of the investigation, Stanton has been charged with one count of Battery of a Dating Partner and one count of Aggravated Assault. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured during the incident.
The Shreveport Police Department wants to remind our community that no one should have to endure domestic violence. There are numerous resources available to those in need of assistance. Remember, love should not hurt.
