Car Theft Suspect Wanted by Shreveport Police

Property Crimes Detectives with the Shreveport Police Department are on the hunt for a car theft suspect.

Montravius Beverly is the prime suspect in a car theft that happened back in May. Detectives were able to determine that Beverly allegedly stole a car, and then later sold it to a local salvage yard.

Going off of all the evidence gathered on Beverly, a warrant was issued for his arrest for one count of Theft of a Motor Vehicle and one count of Illegal Possession of Stolen Things.

SPD Detectives have attempted to contact Beverly several times with no success. SPD is urging the public to come forward with any information that would lead to his arrest.

"Anyone with information on Montrevius Beverly’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Shreveport Police Department at 318-673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373. Those wishing to remain anonymous can submit tips through the Crime Stoppers P3 app."
