Shreveport Man Wanted for Brutal Domestic Violence and Kidnapping

Shreveport Police were contacted regarding a brutal domestic abuse incident involving a Shreveport man.

Through the investigation, SPD learned 29 year-old Wayne McClinton Jr. and the victim had been dating for around two months.

McClinton allegedly accused the victim of looking at other men before forcing her to strip naked before physically assaulting her, and dragging her around the property. Investigators say he then forced her inside the house, locked her in a bedroom, and continued beating her for hours.

The next morning, the victim was allowed to leave the house. She fled the location and was later stopped by Bossier City Police, who saw that she had been severely beaten.

Wayne McClinton Jr. is wanted on the following charges:

· Battery of a Dating Partner

· False Imprisonment

UPDATE: McClinton has been arrested.
