Shreveport Traffic Stop Leads to Felon Arrested with Firearm
SHREVEPORT, LA- Shreveport Police arrest felon with a firearm
The Shreveport Police Department arrested 43-year-old Kenyoun Gilyard, following a traffic stop conducted on March 30, at approximately 1:30 a.m. Guillard was operating a vehicle at Financial Plaza and Pines Road when officers initiated contact.
During the traffic stop, officers discovered that Gilyard was armed with a firearm. Subsequent investigation revealed that he was a convicted felon and was prohibited from possessing a firearm. Consequently, Gilyard has been charged with one count of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
