Shreveport Police continue their efforts to remove firearms from individuals prohibited from possessing them, with a strong focus on addressing youth-related firearm offenses. On October 1st, 17-year-olds Dontavious Wilson and Edward Logan were arrested for the illegal possession of handguns.

Edward Logan was apprehended in the 4200 block Lakeshore Drive during the execution of a warrant, Later Dontavious Wilson was arrested near Baxter Street and Jewella Avenue after being found with a stolen firearm.
