Two Shreveport Teens Arrested With Guns Following Chase
On Monday, December 2, 2024, just after 8:00 PM, Shreveport Police officers proactively patrolling the neighborhood attempted a traffic stop near East 78th Street and Henderson Avenue. The driver of the vehicle fled, leading officers on a pursuit through the city.
During the chase, a passenger exited the vehicle and pointed a firearm at pursuing officers before fleeing on foot. The pursuing officers did not fire upon the suspect. Officers apprehended the suspect, identified as 17-year-old Ian Clark. Clark was found to be in possession of a fully automatic handgun.
The vehicle's driver was also taken into custody after being found in possession of a stolen vehicle. The driver, identified as 17-year-old Kenii Washington, was armed with a handgun at the time of his arrest.
