A Shreveport teenager who fired a shot at a Shreveport police officer during a foot chase has been sentenced in Caddo District Court. The judge has ordered 17-year-old Dominic Banks to serve 22 years in prison for attempted first-degree murder. He'll have to serve that at hard labor without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence. Banks, who was 16 at the time of the August 2011 shooting, pled guilty to the charge this past February.
