
Shreveport Teen Arrested on Gun and Drug Warrant
On Monday (2/3/25) at 12:20 PM, members of Violent Crimes Abatement Team (VCAT), the Shreveport City Marshal’s Office, and the SPD Warrants Unit showed up at 3517 Penick Street to execute an arrest warrant for 19-year-old Sekory Jones on charges of possession and handling of a machine gun.
The residence was cleared, and police observed a firearm and marijuana inside Jones’ bedroom. The gun and drugs were taken as evidence, and Jones was arrested and transported to SPD Jail on the following charges:
· Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
· Possession of Marijuana Over 14 Grams
· Illegal Carrying of a Weapon with a Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS)
