Shreveport Teen Arrested After Threatening With Firearm

On September 16th, Shreveport Police arrested 17-year-old Kyland Morris after he allegedly threatened a man known to him with a firearm at the intersection of West 70th Street and Pines Road.

Reports indicate that both individuals were stopped at a red light when Morris waved a gun at the victim, following a previous physical altercation between the two. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.

Morris was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Firearm. The Shreveport Police Department remains dedicated to taking swift and serious action against all firearms offenses, as we work to remove firearms from those prohibited from possessing them.
